Membership FAQ's

“Membership in KCCAP is available to colleges or universities that are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and have a greater Kansas City satellite campus (within a 60 mile radius of the Kansas City, MO central post office), with onsite classes continuously offered at their Kansas City site location.” ~KCCAP By laws, 4.1
A formal letter is to be submitted to the President with documentation that supports that the applying institution meets the requirements of the KCCAP by-laws indicated in the above paragraph. Please use the Contact Us link of the KCCAP web site to request more information.

After the Membership Chair receives the letter requesting membership, it will be brought to the membership’s attention and voting will take place at the next possible monthly meeting unless further information is requested. Meetings typically take place on the first Thursday of every month from 10:30a to 11:30a on the campus of a member institution. Upon receipt of the letter, the Membership Chair will notify the applicant of the location of the next monthly meeting.
If you are not able to attend the meeting the Membership Chair will notify you of acceptance or denial of membership. If the applicant’s membership is approved, the Membership Chair will then mail or email further instructions that will assist the approved member to get started, which will include a copy of the KCCAP by-laws
